How to Cope with a Spouse Moving into a Memory Care Community

When your loved one, husband or wife, begins to deal with memory loss, they become less of the person who said “I do” all those years ago, and more of someone else. When a spouse is diagnosed with memory loss, there are many thoughts that can go through the caregiver’s mind. Some of the most common including, “I promised for better or worse, in sickness and in health, so I need to try my best to care for them” and “How am I going to care for them as time goes on, what if they forget me?” Memory loss is tricky.
